On the beach again….grandparents bundled up in jackets and fleece, grandchildren in swimsuits. Five hours of hard work on the biggest hole in the world. Declan and Dad did most of the work but everyone (even Nana) pitched in at some time or other. We filled it in before we left. During turtle season it’s really important to fill in holes but even on a regular day, you don’t want anyone to fall.
We went to Sharky’s for lunch. The kids were fascinated with the birds who fearlessly wandered around searching for crumbs, especially Declan who went crawling under another table after a pigeon.
Another chilly day but we’ll be on the beach, I’m sure. The kids want to dig a BIGGER hole.
